words whisper

Poets who know 'how' don't need to pad the core of such gentle and brief wording. It's heartfeld and lovely.

You have a beautiful way of using simple words.

I love the gentle wind of a whisper... something that can lift and carry you across oceans to another soul. It made me think of ASMR... something I get lost in so often now. Thank you for sharing your world.

So kind of you to say, poetgurl. I appreciate you reading this little scribble of mine.
So short, but not immediately obvious in terms of what this piece is seeking to express.

Despite my being a guy, I reckon that I can just about grasp the emotional angle to this.

Basically, it would apply to lovers who are already close; and known one another for quite a while.

In such a scenario, the mere "whisper" of words may well be enough; to "feel you". Indeed, particular if such words are uttered; in the way of so called "sweet nothings". Or, possibly involving some special words; of unique meaning to the lovers.?

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Brandy. Enjoy what remains of your Saturday too.
Superbly stated in this short but impactful piece.
If you're ever in any doubt to words whisperings effectiveness, just start a conversation by telling people you have a sore throat and see how attentive they listen as you whisper. It's almost like a hidden easter egg of life that works far better than shouting at the top of your lungs, which only makes more people notice how overly loud you are being.
Plus, there is nothing like the comfort of a cozy chat with someone, no matter how far away they are.

'words whisper' is such an inventive and evocative way of expressing intimacy. it brings up an image that implies so much. this was powerful poetry, and the alliteration in the first stanza really hold this up.
