Second guessingA Poem by bcfroAll these thoughts are rushing through my head, Does she really feel the way she said? Is she pulling me along, While singing her sweet siren song? My feelings are calling, Out to you and falling, As you push me back, I have a minor heart attack, When I feel your lips touch mine, But I die, When you talk to another guy, Like you love him, Do you like me or is this thin, Ice that is holding us up cracking, As those other guys are attacking, Our emotional castle, As they hassle, us out, and they stomp on our feelings, But it's less than the pain that is peeling, away at my soul, as you talk to them like they're your own, You say that you're mine, but there is something you hide, There is something inside, That I maybe would die, If I saw the entire, Thing at one time, So you slowly let slip, Each little bit, But I really don't know, which way we are headed for, Whether it's love or its heartbreak, Either will take, My heart, The only difference is, One is trying, So I keep smiling, And hand you my heart, And hope you don't give it away, Play your part.
