Freefall

A Poem by cocoa

What happens when you're on the edge?
When one mishap leads to loss,
Another leads to regret?
What feelings would you never get across?

What happens when your wrists bleed out?
When the words are drained from your lips
And the world becomes a blur?
When the numbness takes over and your consciousness slips?

What happens when the pills send you on a high,
Flies you high enough to reach the stars?
When you're so asphyxiated that
You can dull the pain of your scars?

What happens when there's no turning back?
When there's nothing to count on,
No air to breathe...
What happens when you're long gone?

What happens?
What really happens,
When it's

This can really make a person think. I like how you had a question at the end, to make a person think. Many people may contemplate doing those things, but will they actually live up to it. As said before, i like this. Good Job
