Run, Run, Hurry, Run, Run

A light poem about rushing through the day.

Run, run, hurry, run, run!

 

Yeah, running out of time over here!

For I have no time to sit, 'tis clear!

 

Go, go, racing, go, go!

 

Gotta get dressed and move on out right now!

Need to find a cab, on my way, and how!

 

Move, move, hustle, move, move!

 

Gotta get that caked mixed and then done baked!

Need to move that chair, come on you, wake, wake!

 

Up, up, faster, up, up!

 

Need to dial all of those calls today!

Gotta run  to the store, fill the cart then pay!

 

Fly, fly, quicker, fly, fly!

 

Trippin’ over my feet right over here!

Now flat on my face in the mud, oh dear!

 

Cry, cry, baby, cry, cry!                                  

 

I've leap into this mucked mess of a day!

I’m leavin', too taxed to come out and play!

 

Bum, bum, tarry, bum, bum!

Just love the beat of it...tap, tap, tap, hurry, hurry, rush, rush, go, go, and I am out of breath just reading it.....lol

I am a "Bam, Bam" sort of gal, so I can really identify with much of what you have written. Do we with this type of personality ever really get done???? "Me thinks not"

The ending is the perfect way to wrap up your message of way too much to do in way too short of a time frame!
