Betrayer Be

Betrayer Be

A Poem by BLBrown
"

Abstract piece about betrayal.

"

Oh betrayer be, liar thee, exposing my soul for all to see, why do you dare laugh at me?

Oh deceiver thee, hater be, beating my back with intense glee, what then mirrored do you see?

Oh cheater art thee, denied fee, staring hateful in degrees, while you dared to look at me?

Oh denouncer ye, failure’s key, locking my body in inky debris, what are you ashamed to free?

Oh seller art thee, bargain be, I am but only a commodity, what did you expect of me?

Oh snitcher you be, rat art thee, teller of tales and those lying decrees, is it by choice, you'll not see?

Nay monster are ye! You unclean, and as I smolder in this ashen sea, I’ll be taking you with me.
