They are majestic. I also feel humbled there, and inspired.
Maybe that's why I find it so peaceful when I walk in the woods. Enjoyed the piece. ty PS

I think the haiku is greatly underused. But you're bringing it back, and that in itself is beautiful. Wonderful job, and this one specifically makes you feel like running out on a long hike in a cool fall morning.
