Jury Duty -- Patience

Jury Duty -- Patience

A Story by Bonnie

Lesson to be learned during short jury duty experience

"

August 29, 2008

I spent Monday and Tuesday of this week in a court house, because I was summoned for jury duty.

The case was a tenant-landlord issue, and I'm currently dealing with something similar in my own life.  I manage an apartment complex, and some of the residents are upset with me for enforcing the rules.

It seems clear to me that I'm attracting these experiences to learn a lesson.  Now, if I can only be sure what the lesson is, and learn it!

While waiting in the court room for them to complete the jury selection process I wrote several poems.  I put the three poems about humor, laughter and joy in a separate writing.

Here is the last poem I wrote just before they excused us:

Wait, wait, be patient

All things will be revealed

Cannot rush seasons

I like this, the poem at the end is very nice, and I like that you preface it with the explanation.
it makes the poem better.

As long as you keep searching for the lesson you will find it. Have you considered doing some automatic writing, or asking for dreams that might make the lesson easier to learn? Then again, Cannot rush seasons.

I really like you poems too.
