Renew Me

Cut my heart out
And leave it there
Just keep it beating
I’m not done yet

Make me stronger
In body and mind
Fix my problems
Both mental and physical

Heal my scars
Visible or not
Renew my exterior
And inside as well

Finish that work
Then grab my heart
Put it back where it belongs
So that I can start again
