Another one I wrote for HE10b

We sit here quietly

Not saying a thing

Just together

For the sake of being together

 

The breeze is light

As it ruffles you hair and mine

And gently pushing

Our bench swing forward

 

I shiver slightly

So you pull me closer

I close my eyes

But yours stay open

 

You look at the lake

Then back at me

I feel you lay your head on mine

And I guess that you close your eyes

 

The small waves

All over the lake

Make music against the edges

Singing us a beautiful song
