Soul Rock

Soul Rock is my youth group. And I wrote this poem about just that. <3

My favorite place
My sanctuary
The only place I'm me
I come every Wednesday
And it's the highlight of my week
The people there are the best
Many smiles and many laughs
Ending with warm hugs
And friendly goodbyes

Always a good lesson
Then something fun to follow
Each night there's something different
A new way to get us thinking
Everyone is affected by the discussion
Just in so many different ways
Our personalities make things interesting
Sometimes even crazy
But Clinton almost always brings us back to reality

We're one big family
Brothers and sisters in Christ
It's always exciting to be there
And a little sad when it's time to go
In the end
It's a night well spent
With a natural high
Off God's word
And many great friends.

This place saves my life. Thank you guys. You really made a difference in my life.
