Desire to bleed

No reason why

I just feel numb

Or rather don’t at all

For words escape me

And I am just a shell

A body with no soul

A big empty void

 

Why I bring it up

I’m not ever sure

What you can do

With no information

Just general statements

Nothing meaningful

Nor anything real

Simply partial little lies

 

But then there’s you

Whose arms I want around me

Making all the problems fade

Without a single word

Only your presence

Filling the empty cavity

And removing the weight

That has no real volume
