try to be your friend

love is a battle field

 

 

I new it from the start.

That you would be the one to break my heart

 

But I didn't ever really think we would be were we are now.

I know you don't love me and I try to be your friend but I just don't know how.

 

When you love someone its hard to be there friend cause that would be like pretending your not in love.

I feel like you were sent from above.

 

I feel like god saw me and he just new I was meant to be with you.

I wish you could see the pain I am going through.

 

What is my problem why cant I see.

Why am I crying over someone that would never cry over me.

 

When I think about us.

I get on my knees and pray to Jesus.

 

I say “lord why am I making it so hard to be his friend.”

he will never love me in the end.

 

You make my life seem so boring and slow.

I think I really need to let you go

 

I just hopelessly don't think I can.

I will always be your baby girl and you will always be my man.

 

Its easy to see your the perfect guy.

But for once I don't want to cry.

 

I admit its hard to tell you that I don't love you.

Cause that wouldn't be true.

 

I can just try to be your friend.

And we can see how that will end.
