THE TEMPLE AMONG THE MOUNTAINS

THE TEMPLE AMONG THE MOUNTAINS

A Poem by The Brazilian Poet
"

This poem speaks about a place where all spiritual one would like to be, at least for some days!

"

There was a place among the mountains
Where there was a temple built into the rock
And inside the temple there were sculptures
Made by the monks , the ancient monks...
They were beautiful sculptures which showed
Figures of meditators in Lotus posture
Every one in deep meditation was smiling
A smile full of divine serenity...
And when someone was in front of those meditators
It was possible to feel something totally new:
Something like a strong joy, a blissful moment
Which seemed it would last forever!
And when a person who was there was now in the city
That  feeling of serenity still was there too!
Till to be  unfortunately extinguished  by the noises of the cars
And the noises of the people who were walking
On the streets of Las vegas!

'a blissful moment' beautifully noted as is the observation of how soon it gets extinguished by the hustle-bustle.
