Silence

Silence can be heard from all around,

A sickeningly empty sound.

Cascading down on everyone,

Relieving the day of all its fun.

Listen closely and you will hear

The anger and despair in your ear.

Eventually it will fade,

But until then it will cut like a blade.

In order to end this silence,

If you are smart you will try this,

Apologize and understand

That there is a reason

Behind what is in my hand.

There is pain in my heart,

And a fire ready to start.
