Blade

Blade

A Poem by batteryafter

You stare me in the face,
Make me feel like a disgrace.
You are always there, staring,
I see the scars, no longer baring.
You make me angry,
You make me sad.
You make me cry,
You make me feel bad.
I see you sit there,
And I can't help but stare.
Why do you tempt me?
Why can't I just let it be?
Step aside, watch and learn.
Be careful for you might get burned.
I hate you dearly,
I want to hold you just merely.
I hope our bond will fade,
So goodbye my faithful razor blade.
