Green Grizzlies

Come with me to the hallows of my mind

where the green grizzlies dwell

moose with green satin covered antlers

wolves wearing difficult hairstyles

where salmon spawn in hot tubs

where Pan and Oberon still do rule

and Nature is the mother goddess of all

There are mysteries we cannot fathom

in the mountains and the woods

there are other ears to hear a falling tree

where life force is vital in the air

and in the meadows, fairy circles

and deva dens are hidden in the brush

Is it any mystery they're hidden from us?

After what we have done to each other

brothers and sisters killed in droves

while others planted pleasure groves

set up institutions

invented the pollutions

which blindness has now wrought

since accountability is naught

To nurture living things

is redemption for out sins
