Oceans are calm tonightA Poem by B.JLife across the waterwaysOceans are calm tonight The moon is full, gleaming Upon the water ways The cliffs of the coast, lighted Glistening by a lighthouse A flicker of light across an ocean An immense light across a tranquil inlet By the window, stand, feel the night air Oceans spray lifts your spirits Where the ocean meets the land Stand quietly, listen, hear the roar of the ocean Stones clash to and fro, As the tides begins for the day With rhythmic motions, slowly turning With an eternal emptiness Wind swept oceans Create untold drama from long ago Each sweep of tide flows into your mind Stories of human misery, swept to the floor of the ocean Sounds and thoughts, flood the floor of the ocean With oceans calm Tonight the ocean is strong Have faith, the ocean will hold you steady Nature of the ocean, lay in fold around the earth Now hear the long roar of the ocean retreating The breath of the wind, as it edges it way Across the worlds oceans The world lies before us, so vast and new Wind swept oceans, confused of many battles Stories of loves lost, beautiful and new Sometimes swept away (c)bj © 2016 B.JReviews
