Negotiating a high mountain pass in my dreamsA Poem by B.JI have been thinking lately how conscience and fate meld togetherAlone I stood, in my room
I took three paces, in my room Greeting my conscience Across the room, my fate Was placed before me My conscience, was crying out before me Negotiating a high mountain pass in my dreams Next I dream fate is near But fate refuses to listen In the middle of my nagging conscience I lay at night, loosely between Fate and conscience Dreams become near As fate begins to listen As conscience wanes And the chains cease to hold My weakness ceases Thoughts of failing fade In that moment peace Opened the doors of fate Revealing a clear conscience With no rhyme or reason Deep within the soul Stand tall and feel whole once more With Conscience and fate together (c)bjsscribbles © 2016 B.JReviews
