Under the open sky

Under the open sky

A Poem by B.J
"

Being remembrance day I wanted to write something truly Australian

"
Under the open sky
Across where the Never Never land ranges
Where the bush chapel ranges
Under the open sky
For whom ever roams by
Echo's God's praises

The open sky full of stars
That shine the way
For travelers that roam this land
Days filled with heat, fierce winds
Heat waves that flow, piercing eyes

Bearded and Bronzed men have roamed this land
Voices low and dry, hard working men
Searching for the bush chapel
Under the open sky

Travelers roam this land, today
Camping under the open sky
Searching for stars that show his Glory
Across where the Never Never Land ranges
As far as the eye can see
Days filled with heat, fierce winds
His love shines under the stars
Telling the story of Gods love

The bush chapel is where you find it
Under the stars of the outback
Or in the city under the stars
Maybe a chapel in the park

I am sure you have hidden more gems from Australian culture in this poetry than I will recognize, but I did enjoy the authentic cultural experience of the read.
I think we might call the "bush chapel" the "green cathedral" here in the Carolina mountains. :)
