Wild spirited ocean

Wild spirited ocean

A Poem by B.J
"

The spirit of the ocean, a life it takes sometimes friend or fo

"
Like a spirited war horse, that leaps across hollows, with a gallop
White caps of the ocean, let out a dreading roar, waves beat the shore
On a sand bar, the ocean waves beat the shore
Such a wild spirited ocean, smitten's my ears, with a dreary tone
Gathering with force, growing, swelling, surging of depths unknown
Stand there shivering, watching, questioning the tale of the ocean

The countless years, you come, your dreading roar, your waves that beat the shore
Your spray is like moon-glittering tears, Your song is sung rejoicing
There is a cry of sadness, that comes from the deep ocean depths
For the wrongs you can never right, you cry at night when the ocean is still
Sailors mingle by an empty seat, praying for those lost to the depths of the oceans might

On the shores, oceans away, white caps show their radiance
As your waters wash back and forth, swilling high over a battered body
On the sand, he lay, on the shores of another world
Your waters, with a mighty force, swill over his drowning body
There was a sudden interruption to this story of the ocean depths
Like a spirited war horse a swimmer so strong interrupted the destruction

The greatness of the ocean, more power than known, to the untrained eye
Gathers and swells, listen to the roar, as waves beat the shore
Such a wild spirited ocean, surging to the depths of the unknown
Our oceans tell stories, hidden in the depths, like a spirited war horse

A wonderful analogy and depiction of the ocean. Very descriptive and powerful. We pray for those lost in its depths. Excellent...:)..........
