There or elsewhere

There or elsewhere

A Poem by B.J
"

Life has been an adventure these past few years. I've reached the top of the ridge. Now I am living

"
A mountain range surrounds me
By a margin I can see
The sun rising above the ridge
It's a new day dawning

Whatever has passed
Whatever lies before me
A lonely star I see
By the margin of a new day

Lost in a ocean of emotions
And on that day, when my strength is failing
The warmth of a new day dawning
My time has come

No fear, moving through
Baffled for a while
I'm climbing now
Pray don't ask me how

Is all that's left now
To reach the top
While the sun is rising
Like to a lark at the break of day
It's a new beginning, dawning

Whatever has passed
Whatever lies before me
By the margin of a new day
It's a new beginning
There or elsewhere

Becoming one with nature as the new day dawns....climbing a mountain perhaps metaphorically, but definitely filled with hope. A feel good write. Lydi**
