Love begins with a child

Yesterday I was at a function which led me to think about the life of a child. The dreams of a child, and the world we might loose.

Every colour of a rainbow
Can lead us to the soul of heaven
We hear voices in the wind
Unite a sacred lesson
The hand of a dream that reaches out
To where love begins

A child creates a vision of beauty
Every word, every story
Every star in the sky
In the wind I can hear the voices of the universe
A single note will cry from your heart
From the corner of creation
From the mountains to the valleys
The rivers to the sea
Oh! the loneliness
Oh! the endless journey
The world is lost
The hand of a dream that reaches out
To where love begins

Mercy is a simple act
There is the promised chance that still remains
Of Gifts that could be
Let the dreams of a child
Hold memories of the sun
And  let the heart of a child speak
Of what love can do
Dance let a child float on their dreams
Let the rivers run
Over fields, let their lives float
On dreams created


Every colour of the rainbow
Listen, hear the voices along the shoreline
Time will stand still in the presence of a dream
Each season which passes
Every word, every story
Every star in the sky
From the corner of creation
From the mountains to the valleys
The rivers to the sea

Set your eyes in a wonderland
Look through the looking glasses
A secret garden beckon's
Life of a garden does not fade away
Sweet innocence of a child harbors these dreams
Eternally, held in faith

Children bless them!, for they are the light of life
The spirit of flight, and truth
Each season which passes
Every word, every story
Every star in the sky
From the corner of creation
From the mountains to the valleys
The rivers to the sea
Healing their pain
Give them the gift of life, forever and always
Believed in faith
