UnravelingA Poem by B.J![]() I have been creating peace for the past few months![]() Nights spent alone now Yet I am not alone I've traveled so far In my mind and on foot Unraveling my mind Footprints around this land My mind was like a jigsaw A puzzle needing to be solved Sometimes I trace my footprints They are imprinted in my mind I breathe the air I breathe the freedom This land has given me Nights spent alone now Yet I am not alone I've traveled so far In my mind and on foot At night I sit with my dogs at my side Listening to the sounds of the country The wind and the rain at times Sometimes nights so still I hear sounds of nature A new day unfolds A new jigsaw Wind and rain Storms, Sunshine Grey skies, Blue skies A fellow in the skies Once told me Time heals all wounds I traveled in time To a new place in time Unweaving, unwinding, unraveling The storms, the grey skies Finding blue skies, and sunshine Now at night I sit with my dogs at my side Listening to the sounds of the country The wind and the rain at times Sometimes nights so still I hear sounds of nature Peace created . © 2014 B.JAuthor's Note
