Sunrise, Sunset, Night, Day

Sunrise, Sunset, Night, Day

A Poem by B.J
"

Yesterday I walked from Angaston to Nuriootpa with my dogs and back. Set me to thinking about a time when I was travelling with my dogs about Australia and how far we walked.

"
Walk this brown land Australia
Keep a close watch on your heart
This land soon grabs hold

A tie that binds you to this country
I've traveled this land
I've walked this land
You can not let go

Australia your mine, I can not let go
You belong to us all, Australia
When I'm alone at night
I know I am safe here in Australia

Sunrise, Sunset, Night and Day
Keep your mind on the colours
This land brings to your heart
A glow I've known many times
Walking this brown land Australia

You've got a way with you  Australia
You keep us tied to you from the oceans to the land
We can not hide
This land grabs hold
And will not let you go

I would love to visit Australia. I would stay and make my home. Beautiful poetry for your home and a land still free of land and hope. Thank you for the outstanding poetry.

You were lucky. Good to travel with the dogs and see your world.
