A broken heart

Finding your heart and feelings again can be challenging. Its taken me a while but I've done it.

Life has broken my heart
I feel a little broken
What a fool a mortal can be

Take my heart from me
Life,I've been wrong, I know
There's nothing left to do
But give all I have,


Oh! I waited, wanting
To mend my broken heart
Life, stole my heart


Oh! I wanted, Oh! I needed you,
My broken heart, lost
I'm nothing without you

For you heart can see things will never change
So let the warm winds range
That's how I see you heart
A heart that gives loving
So every single day
I'll be the one that you'll remember


Oh! I waited, wanting
To mend my broken heart
Life, broke my heart


A broken heart, lost
More than just an option
Refuses to be forgotten
I took a chance, searching
I feel my heart now taking over
Once more

After moving this year I took time of to relish in my new surroundings and just be me. I have not written for a while so be honest, please.

I like the message in this piece.. it is very affecting... the repetition helps reinforce, but felt a little off in some places, also the wording in a few places felt disjointed or weird...
for example, "I'm not succeeded without you"... not sure what you are saying here... a couple little places like that--that threw me off, but overall really moving... well done... look forward to reading more of your work... I love writing that makes me FEEL... :)
