Dreams within dreamsA Poem by B.JSometimes are confusing during the night, or are they real
A kiss, a tender kiss upon a brow
In parting, as I bid goodbye Visions of you, touch my heart To you I declare my love As I walk a lonely road I bid you my heart, and those that deem My days, have been but a dream There is still hope in my heart It has not flown away In the night, or in the day In a vision, or in none All that I see now or All that seems real I often wonder To dream within a dream Or is it real As I stand amid the quietness of the night A roar echoes across a lonely desert night Grains of red sand so lonely in my hand A few grains of sand, yet they drip through my fingers Tears grip me as I stand amid the quietness of the night A roar still echoes across a lonely desert night As a few grains sand fall drip through my fingers I can not grasp them with a tighter clasp I can not save but one grain From this lonely desert of the night Is it all that I see now or All that seems real Or is it a dream within a dream A question I ask myself © 2014 B.JReviews
