Righteous Fathers

Righteous Fathers

A Poem by Pollai

Through towers seized
Righteous fathers looked
As if protecting humanity,
Valiantly, their vanity shook

Yet, from bloodied egos
These lands lay at waste
Worlds are sinking
Their addictions 'a haste

Oppressed ghosts
Make fierce hosts
Raise that army of one
March on forth

Whether a sword
Or a pencil
Wars been raged
Lift a utensil

Likewise your other poems, you are great at forming imagery to convey the message. I love that this one has an empowering moral at the end. A call to action in the last two verses.
