The Tears in our Skeyes

The people may be happy

But in reality

The sky cries when the rain falls 

Its angry when it rumbles

Yearning for its message to be heard 

But is there someone to hear it?

While we dance in the rain

We forget to reflect, we forget to step back

The sky tells us, warns us, floods our streets 

But yet we do not reflect 

While it is us humans 

That harm the world, the place we live

With all the pollution and destroying nature

Why do we ignore you

Is it because we cannot understand you?

We do understand you, we are a part of you
