it grabs a hold of us
and we live it,
and sometimes
we don't live it.

Tons of pearl in this diminutive piece. I couldn't write a short poem if my life depended on it, I wish I could. I love the contradictions throughout, that is, life, right there. I always say, nothing, is easy in this world, but then, sometimes, something, someone comes along, and it is as easy as breathing. The last part really got me. I really work at not realizing that part, of life anymore.

Great stuff here Victoria, keep writing.
