Belongs To You

I seek your face in every day , my beloved

it is the strength in your heart  I seek

the speech of my heart I'll give voice to 

and the word of your love I will speak

 

I opened the doors to truth knocking

and love was the child that was formed

it must grow up and reach the heavens

on earth will its rule be adorned

 

I will show you  by Christ what is future

the plans he has made for earths kings

how no human will suffer oppressions

the bounties of justice Christ brings

 

I will show you a truth that is pristine

from the leaven of men has been kept

a way of living that is clean and holy

for its undeserved kindnesses we've wept

 

Secure me in your arms my beloved

for the world outside is cruel and dark

your strength and love must hold me

to shield me from the targets mark

 

I want to reach your heart with understanding

the heights and depths you've meant to me

for there can be no other man existing

I want       to live with     in perpetuity 

 

Like God your heart is exquisite

your character can no other match

I follow you like beams of sunlight

and their rays I seeking  to match
