Music

Music

A Poem by PoetryofProvidence

I sing love songs all about our Father
much time is spent listening to his voice
whose melodious call forgoes a choice
the chosen notes he has taught the daughter

I am mesmerized by each gentle chord
so rich and mellow is it's royal sound
that gives birth and life upon the ground
til it reaches the place it will be stored

Like the universe with it's myriads of stars
it's vibration does celestial resonate
and pleasant music of cosmos does restate
whose harmony of movement like so many bars

Though we exist in physicality of being
so intangible and elusive is it's springing
and profound that it effects so many things
the source of music is not a place of seeing

One has to wonder why so much source is sadness
it's formation rises from depth of well
it's listeners enthralled with entranced spell
when it springs forth when touched by badness

But Songs of Love do so move our hearts
it dances and weaves upon us dreams
so ethereal when riding on it's streams
and we are comforted by all that it imparts
