My Handy HandA Poem by Douglas KeppolA poem dedicated to The Doctor's Severed Hand. Based off of the TV series, Doctor Who.
I keep it safe in a jar
Cause it’s weak in its dorsal tubercle. With a Sycorax, I chose to spar. He never intended to leave me whole, But I had a little surprise for him. I’ve got some regeneration energy remaining. So I can grow back my severed limb. No longer will you do any invading, Because this hand is a fightin’ hand! And it will save me time and time again, The hand the Sycorax dismembered and If it weren’t for that hand, I’d have been Matt Smith back in Season Three. (Thank God that didn’t happen) That hand didn’t die, it just became me. Now he lives in Rose’s universe, my twin. That beautiful hand has become something of a symbol, All because of its weak dorsal tubercle. © 2011 Douglas KeppolAuthor's Note
