The Travelling Man

The Travelling Man

A Poem by Douglas Keppol

Daleks, Cybermen, Raxacoricofallapatorius.
Flying through space and time in his TARDIS,
The brilliant Doctor saves us time and time again
From aliens and ourselves and even his own kin.
He loves his companions, oh yes he does,
But never ever does he get applause.
Only the lonely sound of his beating hearts
Follow him throughout all the parts
Of the universe he travels.
Alone, basking in the marvels
Of all of time.
You'll know he's near
If you hear the chime
Of the beautiful TARDIS filling your ears.

This leaves us with only one question to ask:
Doctor... Who?
