It's been quite a while now

since you parted your ways with me...

Just not being able to let go of you

I hang on to each memory...

 

I'm left to cope with what you said

but all efforts; they seem to be in vain...

The distances seem to be growing each moment

and all I breathe is pain!!!

 

My endless longing and yearning for you

like a wild fire it grows...

I'm burning in the shadows of  our memories

and it's not tears; rather my love for you that flows...

 

And my love for you still flows...

 

I LOVE YOU!!! i MISS YOU!!! is all that I scream

as, in my emptiness, it echoes

despite where we stand today

my love for you still flows...

Isnt it odd that no matter what someone does to us we miss the goodtimes we had with them. They can make us cry, make us sad but we cry when wde no longer hear their voice. That was only one part of what I got from your piece. This was very good piece. Im sure many people can relate to it.

great job. nice touch with the red font on some words, emphasizin them. i felt your pain and struggle, great emotion. but i also felt your romantic side, how you love someone, put your all into them, and that shows a lot about you too. great piece.

This broke my heart instantly just reading it.. such pain... such love.. I have had this happen.. know how the love can still flow in one's heart.. the feeling when you see that person creates a deep pain to see them.. I now avoid him. People say it isn't possible to love more than one person.. I say that is a lie.. there are many levels of love..and one ultimate.. watching that one you love the most walk away.. setting someone free and watching them fly away to not return.. it hurts.. I have done that more than once.... and the reality is they don't come back.

If you love someone let them know.. do whatever you can to show that love.. don't let it go.. don't have regrets.. don't suffocate someone but try your hardest to let them know they are loved.. there are no rules in love and only your own heart that is on the line.. the poem made me want to scream.. INSIDE. Loved the flow.. I sure hope you find someone worthy of your heart. =)
