two of a kind

glowing embers

and grey smoke

are the only things

visible in the dark

of

our night.

we lie down and we

speak

of our bitter pasts

experiences

yet we state 

how we will change

as i take in and exhale the smoke

i look at you

you intellectually

stimulate 

electric minds
