AN ENDLESS GOODBYE

AN ENDLESS GOODBYE

A Poem by barefoot143

 I HOLD IN MY HAND

A SHINY NEW BLADE

I THINK TO MYSELF

WHAT AN END TO THIS DAY

YOU HURT ME COMPLETELY

YOU DONT EVEN KNOW

ALL THE THINGS THAT YOU TOLD ME

YOU JUST COULDNT SHOW

I HELD OUT FOR HAPPINESS

I HELD ON TO A DREAM

MY INSIDES ARE HURTING

YOU JUST MAKE ME SCREAM

I LOOK AT THE BLADE

AT THE SCARS THAT  HAVE FADE

ONE MORE CUT ON MY ARM

I AM WILLING TO PAY

I START TO CUT SLOWLY

THEN DEEPER I GO

IM LOST IN THE FEELING

I WANT YOU TO KNOW

"I TREASURE THE FEELING OF AN ENDLESS GOODBYE"

TOMORROW IS NOTHING

WITHOUT YOU BY MY SIDE..

About
Today is the first day of the rest of my life. Driving with no destination, the top down, the music up, ironic twists, eye contact, honesty, laughing, being in love, the forbidden, fate, intellectuals.. more..
