Sacrifice

Sacrifice

A Poem by barefoot143

I SACRIFICE FREEDOM NEVER KNOWING THE COST

GIVING UP EVERYTHING TO LIVE IN THIS BOX

EACH DAY YOU TAKE AWAY PIECES OF ME

WITHOUT EVER KNOWING WHAT I HAVE HAD TO SEE

IF EVER I NEEDED SOMEONE TO BE THIER

YOU PROMISED FOREVER

IT JUST ISNT FAIR

I THOUGHT I WANTED TO BE DIFFRENT

I THOUGHT I COULD CARE

SO MANY NIGHTS IN AN ENDLESS STARE

HOPING FOR SOMETHING THAT JUST ISNT THIER.

LOSING ME

       LIVING A LIE

              BEGINING TO CRY

GETTING OVER THE SADNESS

       THE HURT

            AND THE WHYS

        ANOTHER DAY OF SACRIFICE

JUST ANOTHER DAY OF MY LIFE

About
Today is the first day of the rest of my life. Driving with no destination, the top down, the music up, ironic twists, eye contact, honesty, laughing, being in love, the forbidden, fate, intellectuals.. more..
