to measure in weight

to measure in weight

A Poem by BareFeet Queen

Some moments
Stop the hourglass
And replace its sand
With reason
Of captured
And shimmering
Essence
Suspended like glitter
In glass
And I feel such pauses
With clarity
This reverence and insight
Of crystal
As tiny
And traveled miracles
With you
On our distance of stars
Skipping from instance
To infinite
From darkness
To the bridges of day
In the span of lifetimes
Once waited
But now
Can’t entirely
Fade
Or elapse
By the grace
Of this journey
Too perfect
For its measure
In weight.

You are
The whole
Of my hour
Though the minute
Has come
Too late.
