Echo from the pastA Poem by Ray of lightEcho from the past. Feeling, disheartened and lonely, I traced my steps back to where I had started. I kept thinking why you had left me and parted. My lips trembled and tears began to form in my eyes, I swallowed hard, and tried my hardest not to cry. My feelings were a mixture of worry and sorrow, some thoughts even about how time I would survive, without a person my heart had surrendered to, without someone it wouldn't be worth to spend a life. Your laughter ringed in my ears, as I stepped forward. Your memory weakened me as I fell downwards. I knelt as those memories played in my mind, just like I had pressed the button of rewind. I shifted my gaze on the sparkling ring, it lay before me on the cold, dark ground. It reminded me of the time gone, the time when you were still mine. The time which had hurriedly flew past, while now I think its unable to fly. The coldness of loneliness took me over, and in sunshine I shivered and cried. I took the flowers and kept it one the stone, wishing to God that you were still alive.
