Tomorrow will be another day

A new poem by me, I really do think I have improved with this one...I wrote it a really long time ago but I got time to post it here only today.

Tomorrow will be another day.

Your words might have stabbed me ,

deep in my heart.

Your actions might have scared me,

and caged my heart.

Your winnings might have been more,

apparent than mine.

You might have overshadowed me,

a thousand of times.

Your power might have weakened me,

and pushed me down.

Your strength might have defeated me,

and shook my ground.

But I'm not going to bow,

because I know somehow,

That I will achieve my lost glory.

Today I might be broken and weak,

people may find me powerless and bleak.

But surely with time my wounds will heal,

And from future the moment of glory I will steal.

My clipped wings and caged heart of today,

will take me tomorrow.

Where I would never have to face any pain or sorrow.

I would no longer be shy,

because my clipped wings will help me

fly.....
