Bella Fortuna

Bella Fortuna

A Poem by Anna Moore
"

A poem to get eachother through the tough times.

"
Slowly shaking off the withered,
After a journey oh so long.
Faithful understanding of lessons
Thrusting experience into song.
Body healing, this lost grace
Returns to the bow.
Sinking less, float this current,
Even crave it now.
Last night sweetened melodies
Left parted lips. Freedom
From aching bones dawned
With tales of abandoned ships.
Crossing waters take this minds
Eyes as a soft and guiding oar.
Fortune glides with her ease
And strength, can hear her
gentle distant call once more.
‘Laugh it off and charm it out’,
Yet injured spirit waits with doubt.
Anon by fire alight inside,
Fortune sends forward her power.
Encore, fly, glide.

Silmara, I'm glad that your mind went deep into the piece. A writer can ask for little more...

*And strength, can hear her
gentle distant call once more.* ...Superb line!
