Playing PretendA Poem by Hurricane
You set yourself up,
For corruption. Like a volcano, Awaiting eruption. You blow up at random, Causing disruption. At an instant, You confess. Talking to you, Like playing chess. I try to find logic In all of this mess. In go the lies, You start to blend. Like lies are a style, Like lies are a trend. Like a sick, twisted way, Of playing pretend. I thought you were a better friend. © 2020 HurricaneReviews
