Institution

Institution

A Poem by Chirpy!

The state of my institution is a heady one indeed

The butterflys have flown off not to tend my ragged weed.

The caterpillars left behind are caterpillars still

So we crawl across the clear, cool pane

And fall off a window, still.

Awesome. Loved it.

This is cute. I enjoyed the rhyme scheme. And the childlike innocence to it. Or maybe that's just me. It did make me think of the Fox and the Hound, for some reason. The caterpiller, perhaps?

Don't worry. They'll blossom eventually. I like the imagery in this. A great, short visual. One thing though, you left out one of your "t's" in your title. Good work on the piece.
