I do not know

I do not know

A Poem by Chirpy!

I do not know the cop cars

and the online predators

I do not know the parties

and the burglaries

I know the trees - waving their friendly limbs

I know the water - lapping at my eager toes

I know the deer - shy and gentle

I know the birds - laughing and calling me home

I know the ice - giving me the freedom of flight

I know the bears - letting me glimpse their life for precious moments

I know the fire - teaching me its charred posibilites

I know the snakes - they know silence is golden

For every fire there is a minature forest were all things florish

I like the use of nature! We are so far removed from it nowadays, its nice to just turn the TV off and walk outside for a change. I try to stay as connected as possible, seems like you've got one-up on me! Kudos!
