Heaven in a Dream

A glimpse of Heaven in a dream

On my way to heaven,my heart is joyful and light

I think of the  beauty and majesty I will soon see

To once again be with loved ones in joyful reunion

There is a no more perfect place to be

 

I see the Saints in robes of gleaming white

Angels taking wing flying to and fro

Carrying Blessings from God The Father

To all who are still below

 

There is no darkness here as the Majesty of God is the light

I see the children of God worshiping in a beautiful field,streams of living water sparkling in the sun

Singing hymns of Praise and Glory to God on high

Truly a place of peace that awaits us all when our journey is done

 

I cannot say in words you would understand the beauty of Heaven

I am once again with the ones I love as if time had only paused for a day

No pain or suffering,thrist or hungar,here you need only love to feed your soul

In all things good and beautiful God is always there to show the way

 

I awoke and realized that this was only a dream a time yet to come

It made me understand that the troubles on Earth are a temporary thing

To know that what awaits me is far more meaningful than now

I will remember this dream each day I hear church bells ring.
