A Conversation One Day In Heaven

A conversation between God and Jesus.

God looked down from Heaven on mankind

He was grived at what he saw

Why children,do you not follow my commandments?

You forsake me and live only for pleasures of the flesh.

 

I gave you life and freewill,yet I have become not even a thought to you.

I cannot even look on you anymore,I can no longer Bless you.

Your sin has become more than I can bear.

I will destroy you and begin again.

 

Jesus came to God and asked,Father will you destroy them a second time?

God answered yes.It must be done.

Jesus said,let me go to them to preach the gospel,I will try to save them

and make them acceptable in your sight again.

 

God told him,I have sent preachers and prophets to them,yet they still sin.

Even my Son they would treat no differently.

Jesus asked,Father can I go to them,preach to them. I am willing to take all their sin on myself

and through my death and shedding of my blood I will become their sin so they can be forgiven.

 

God asked,why would you do this,they are but a generation of vipers?

Jesus said simply.because I love them.I have known them all before

They are my bretheren.

Satan seeks to corrupt them all,they all must be made known of you and your love for them.

 

God told Jesus,I do love them.If you love them enough to make this sacrifice for them

I will not see their sin anymore and I can again Bless them.They will be my children,I will be their God.

Jesus came to earth and the rest of his story is the Bible.

 

This is a love we can never understand all we can be glad of is the Conversation One Day In Heaven.

I like the idea of this. I would play up the conflict between father and son a little more though. What if Jesus defied God by coming to earth? It's interesting how far a son will go to disobey a father but a father go just as far to save a son who was way over his head. God saves us to save his son. Just an idea.
