And as we soar
You took my breath
as though it was your own

Green compliments blue
just like I to you

Tried my best to keep it low
but I can't seem to do so

Trailing behind your every move
hanging on to your every word

With you I seem to be the best that I can be,
but without you I can't/don't seem to be me.

This is a pretty poem. It seems a little sad, but well written. I'm not for sure what you did at the can't/don't thing, but I like it.
