A Poem by Bailey Bradish

I fell into blackness

Everything I thought I knew turned to nothing

And the brightest eyes I once had were now full of black

The sweet smile I once loved was sinister

I can’t handle him anymore

The dreams I had are now so dark

His words jab at my heart

Just like I desire to jab at his

He hurt me

He broke me

And I will return the favor

The thought became overwhelming

The desire to tear him apart rushes over my body

Consequences become non-existent
