All I want

All I want

A Story by Samantha

When you said your last goodbye I died a little bit inside

Those lyrics mean more to me then you think, I'm happy now but for some reason, I'm listening to sad music; having a tightness in my chest like my heart was breaking.
I really can't imagine the world without you by my side, I don't want you to leave, I don't want to sleep alone; come back please I still need you... I want you.
All of our old memories play through my mind like a Cheetah chasing after its prey, but all it catches is dust and confusion on where everything went wrong in this chase.
I love and I loved, and I lost you... another lyric that means a lot to me.

When I came back from overseas (1971) and my first wife left me, I felt like what you describe here. One particular record album filled my broken heart with longing and sadness, just as you have. The blues don't last forever, thank goodness.
