Saying Goodbye To Kelsey

Saying Goodbye To Kelsey

A Poem by Father Mojo

Take one last kiss before I go;
I must now leave, as you well know.
Don’t let yourself become distressed,
I’m only doing what is best.

You know that I can never be
Any of what you need from me;
So we just pine, hurt and obsessed.
I’m only doing what is best.

You Know it’s not that I don’t care,
So don’t believe that! Don’t you dare!
That’s a hurtful thing to suggest.
I’m only doing what is best.

I hope all of your dreams come true.
I will always remember you.
And though, this moment, we detest,
I’m only doing what is best.

Love comes with letting go, and that is always the hardest thing to do. It takes not only courage, but also sacrifice. This is interesting. Keep writing.

well...isn it letting go of things that sometimes decide how strong you are...it's difficult though..difficult to hold yourself back and control that organ beating inside our body...its then we seek happiness in doing what's the best for people we love...
that strange feeling, the fight between wishing to be with them and knowing that your absence may make things better for "them" is more like a battle fought with the intention to feel pain...
you have beautifully described that known and abstract feeling that lies somewhere between heartache and loss of love...
